When I login using Facebook, it will login and on trying to open to my account, it will show nothing but turn my screen white without proceeding further to open my account. Below are the screenshots of the bug problem

I can't login to my pi account from my pi network app in my new phone.

My 3g connection was strong. I used the 3g network when I was sure it’s strong (because every other apps and websites loads faster). However, I don’t have WiFi network in my location.

I have tried accessing my pi account severally on my new phone but the same error keeps occuring. And if I want to try opening my pi account next time, I’ll have go to the pi app info and clear the cache and data for the app to start afresh, otherwise, I won’t be able start afresh.

My Facebook was already set to allow other apps to access my Facebook account. Below are the screenshots.

My country is Nigeria.

Hey friend, we got your report!
you need to upgrade your andriod version from 5.0 to at least 8.0 for the app to be fully functional. Suggestion is to get a better phone for that.

If you don’t upgrade your andriod version then the app won’t be effectively and efficiently working. Thanks.

On your new phone provided that the Android version is updated, when you install Pi app on it, Click on continue with facebook and enter your exact account credentials. You should be able to get in and be fine.

That should mean I won’t b able to use pi again because I don’t know how and when I can or will get a better phone, and no one to buy for me either. Hmm!

BenVal No friend you can still mine Pi using your phone, and you dont have to verify your account with facebook or phone.. your mined pi is yours even without verifying your account.

I tried to update my phone using from the “system update” but it’s saying I’m using the latest version, which means that this version is the latest for my phone.

Yes. I couldn’t and I still can’t mine or login.
When I got this phone, it was in version 5, and I try to upgrade it but it will keep showing “is the latest version”. Which means that the version 5 it came with is its latest version. It was after then I downloaded the pi network app from google play store and tried to mine but I can’t even login or use the app. I suspected it’s a bug problem from the app.

BenVal my friend I am sorry to inform you that Pi Network app only supports android 6 or higher version on phone.. the only solution for you now is if you can get atleast a phone that runs on android 6 or higher..

Hi, yesterday I got a new phone. Which runs on Android 11. I installed pi network app and when I click on login with facebook it shows the following error: “the browser is old and under development.”
Screenshot attached. And I could not register my contact number for some reason in my old device for some reason, idk. Im from India. Kindly help!
