I am going to explain here why your mined pi has no monetary value yet.
If you keep asking “how much is 1pi?” That means you have not read the Pi Network FAQ its about 5-10 minutes read, its not a very long information to read to be honest with you.
Pi Network is still in beta. “βeta means a second phase of software testing. In which a sampling of the intended audience tries the product out.” Now that you became a pioneer, you‘ve signed up to test the Pi Network crypto currency while at the same time you are earning π through your phone a legit Pi Network cryptocurrency.
Pi Network is not a quick bucks - easy money kind of thing. Pi is NOT free money. It is a long-term project whose success depends on the collective contributions of its members. Being a Pi Network member or pioneer gives you the chance to test π cryptocurrency and report bugs to the developer of the project. While in βετα phase you cannot transfer your mined pi to anyone, unless you are invited to participate in the IAT and passed KYC (Know Your Costumer). IAT is another topic.
Pi Network has no working wallet available to pioneers at this time and the most important part of cryptocurrency project is the blockchain. Pi Network doesn’t have a blockchain yet. The Pi Network code is still centralized - meaning right now the governance of Pi Network is being controlled by its founders and developers.
Pi Network is not listed on any exchanges yet, again because this project is still in βετα. That’s why Pi Network has no monetary value at this time.
Now that you know that Pi Network has no monetary value yet. I encourage you to continue supporting this project by enabling the ads while running the Pi App. The ads that you see supports the development of Pi Network project.
If you have encountered bugs while using the Pi Network app and if you have any questions or anything that you don’t understand about Pi Network. You can submit your questions here.
Thank you. Happy Mining!
